The Glory of God is God’s presence manifested.  Therefore, the Glory of God is God.

      John 1:14 reveals, “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father)…”   The word dwelt is translated here as tented or tabernacled. While He was on earth the Glory of God tabernacled among us in the body of Jesus.  Now the Glory of God tabernacles in us the body of Christ.  “Christ in you, the hope of glory”  (Colossians 1:27) 

      Lately the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about the Glory of God, His manifested presence.  It seems as though there is a feeling of complacency in the air concerning this. Have we let it slip? We cannot let distractions come in such as being too busy doing the work of the ministry to dwell in His presence (Glory) on a personal level. Perhaps our thoughts are being clouded about the success of our works instead of concentrating on the outcome of His presence in our services and daily lives. 

      The body of Christ should be awakened to the truth that “ His Glory will fill the whole earth.” Think of that, who are the Glory carries? How about taking a Sunday to teach about this, or making it a series of teachings to the children?  It is a fascinating subject.  Once they get hold of this they will want more of Him, and watch and see what the Lord does when you start talking about His Glory.  After all, when we talk about the Glory we are boasting about Him.  Don’t you know He just loves that? Don’t you know that He will come and settle in and tabernacle with you and do great and mighty things because you have made His Glory known?  

Healthy Hints:  Keep a youthful state of mind.  It gives you a sense of self-esteem with a sense of all the possibilities life has to offer no matter what your age.
