“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11)

December 25^th is the day when we celebrate our Savior’s birthday.  I just love the Christmas season.  It is such a joyous, peaceful time.  I enjoy looking at the lights and the beautiful decorations.  In our house all the lights are in honor of the “Light” of the world, our Lord Jesus.  He truly is wonderful and I love celebrating His birthday.    Happy Birthday Jesus!!

 THE KING’S BIRTHDAY

The festivities in Heaven have got to be great

Preparing for Your birthday the citizens can hardly wait

Children scurrying with dancing and glee

Picking flowers for the One who made them free

The saints have set the table in honor of the King

Not set with earthly foods but fruit of the Spirit they bring

Musicians have their instruments ready to play

The most glorious music for the occasion of the day

HARK! The Herald Angels sing

Open the door for the entrance of the King

All arise in the great banquet hall

Standing in reverence to the Lord of all

As the King enters the room is full of sighs

He is a sight most marvelous to the eyes

Blessing and honor all shout with a roar

Happy Birthday dear Jesus it’s You we adore
