I wrote a poem years ago that was inspired by the Holy Spirit. I pray that it will bless you as it did me.  As we get closer and closer to the time of the end we are seeing so much turmoil on this earth.  But it is time to rejoice because our redemption draws nigh.  Let’s keep our eyes on our Master and work to bring as many souls with us in the rapture as we can.

Think On These Things

Sometimes I begin to think of things that are bad

The world and all its’ suffering is so very, very sad

Children who are starving all over this earth

Because of much violence, poverty and dearth

Kids beaten at home can’t stand on their feet

In desperation go live on the cruel, deadly street

Severe persecution to Christians in foreign lands

We must not just sit here but pray and extend our hands

Drugs, pornography and so much abuse

People committing suicide because they feel there’s no use

So much more could be the thoughts of this kind

But the Holy Spirit brings God’s word to my mind

Think on the things that are good, honest and true

Do not dwell on things that make you sad and blue

Though the earth should change and the mountains be shaken

Still I am God and I care for all my creation

Yes, these are times of great turmoil and distress

Keep your mind on Me and you’ll stay at rest

Let not your heart be troubled about sorrows in this last day

But pour out your heart and for these situations pray

Praying in the harvest is another part of this story

Believe and receive and pray down the glory

As you think on these things strongly you’ll stand

 I’ll pour out My power and you’ll see My strong hand

Now rise up my child with a very loud voice

For this is the time to shout and rejoice
